CURRENT NEWS:
To all students interested in joining the Knox Williams chapter of the National Honor Society, please ask for an Information Sheet for Membership from Mrs. Jenkins (Room 3001), Mrs. Bunting (Room 2013), the National Honor Society bulletin board on the second floor, or Mrs. Campbell in the Lubbock High School Library.
Students interested in joining must have a GPA of at least 3.8 and pay an annual membership fee of $5.00 (to be submitted with the application). Please submit these forms to our sponsors before Thursday, September 20, 2007.
All existing members must complete 2 Social Points (4 hours) and 4 Service Points (8 hours) of activities before the Fall semester is over. All service and social points are due on Thursday, December 13, 2007.
Members on probation need to fulfill these requirements and those which
they lack from the Spring 2007 semester in order to remain members and
receive the National Honor Society seal on their diplomas.

Special Guest Speaker: Dr. James Brink, Senior Vice Provost of Texas Tech University
Attend and earn social points!
10-10-07 at 8 AM in the LHS Library: Mandatory Meeting
This is the first meeting for new members and we will discuss requirements to retain membership, upcoming activities, etc. All members are required to attend.
